2002 Cowley Cookbook

3-5 pounds lean meat
1 T onion powder
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 T seasoned salt
1 tsp black pepper

Cut meat (no fat at all!) 1″ thick, 2″ long and 1/4 ” wide. Mix all ingredients together and pour over meat. Mix gently. Stir off and on and let stand in refrigerator overnight. Next morning, drain and dry in 200 degree oven for 2 hours on each side.

2 1/2 cups soy sauce
1/2 cup ketchup
2 1/2 tsp garlic powder
5 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups Worcestershire sauce
2 1/2 tsp pepper
2 1/2 tsp onion salt

Mix all together well. Put thin sliced meat in and soak 24 hours. Drain well and dehydrate meat.

Scrub potatoes thoroughly. slice each potato 1/8″ – 1/4″ thick.  Put on pan that has cooking spray on it, single layer only. Spray the potatoes, then season to taste with salt, seasoning salt, etc.

Bake until they are almost a little crispy.  Eat like a french fry.

1 cube margarine
1 cup canned milk (not condensed)
2 cups brown sugar
vanilla
salt

Cook together first three ingredients to soft ball.  Add salt and vanilla.  Pour over popped corn.  to make it a little less sticky, add 1/2 cup Karo syrup.
